Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
